I'm Chris Lancaster.
I founded Golden State IT in July 2024 after years of running IT for Central Valley businesses — first as a partner and manager at TurlockPC, and before that in the U.S. Army as a Communications Specialist, where I was responsible for millions of dollars of comms equipment: computers, VoIP, radios, and SATCOM. Things had to work, and when they didn't, the fix was on me.
That's still how I operate. When you call Golden State IT, you get the person who set up your network, knows your server's quirks, and will be the one fixing it. No hand-offs, no ticket queue, no explaining your setup to a stranger.
Today I manage more than 500 endpoints across 60+ companies, local and out of state, and I've served over 300 businesses across my career. Most of my clients have been with me for years. That's the only metric I care about.

I match plans, I don't sell them
If the right answer is my cheapest plan, that's what I'll recommend. I've talked people out of Gold and I'll do it again.

Every plan page on this site lists what you give up, not just what you get. You should know both before you sign.
You own everything
Passwords, licenses, documentation — all yours. If I ever stop earning your business, you leave with all of it and 30 days notice.
